It starts from the Cathedral Abbey (km 0 altitude 826 m), with adjacent parking, cross the country until you reach the Church of San Leonardo (km 0.64). From there you exit from Abbadia continuing in a slightly wooded area until you reach the provincial road 39 “dei combattenti” (km 1.4).

Follow it for a few kilometers downhill until you get to km 3.6 (altitude 609) a dirt road on the right that leads to the Val di Paglia. Follow it for a few kilometres until you cross, on a bridge, the Paglia river (km 9.8, elevation 303) and reach the industrial area near the Cassia (km 10.2). Here you have to turn right and go downhill, keeping parallel to the Cassia.

When you arrive near the farm Santa Maria (11.1 km) cross it and take a cartroad that runs along a quarry (11.6 km) with the Maddalena lake on your left. You continue to descend and you get to Ponte al Rigo near the hostel and the restaurant (km 13.4), where there is the intersection with the route of the stretch Siena Acquapendente.

At Ponte a Rigo (hostel and refreshment point) we go down to the Cassia, we ride along it on the right until a crosswalk near a bar tobacconist, we cross the Cassia and we go down to the river Rigo (km 13.5). We bend to the right and ride along the Cassia from underneath, walking on a path on the edge of the field for about 500 meters and after leaving the Cassia and going straight on, we bend to the right to leave the path and go up to the SP 20 (crossroad Cassa Aurelia) that we will ride for a few kilometers (km 14.4).

We cross the Paglia river on a bridge and immediately after we leave the SP 18 on the right and continue left on the SP 20 (km 14.9). We follow the provincial road until Podere Siete (km 18.65) where we take a dirt road on the left until the farm La Valle (km 19.4). Here you have to turn sharply to the left, ride along the Siele torrent at km 20.7 and immediately after, at the fork, turn right.

With a non-linear route (proceeding east-southeast) you pass a series of farms Cornietello (km 22.0), Sant’Antonio (km 22.9), La Terraccia (km 23.7), La Casina (km 24.4). Here you have to turn right and you arrive at the farm San Giorgio (25.7 km) and from there (in SE direction) you arrive at Proceno (28.4 km).

You pass the village and proceed along the provincial road Proceno until you reach the Cassia (km 62.2), turn right (km 30.6), pass the farm Lionello (km 31.7) and soon you reach Acquapendente where the route ends in Piazza del Comune (km 34.4).
